How to Create Winning Days

A Winning Day: Defined

What is a winning day?

Obviously not the days I’ve been having this month because here it is the 9th of June and I’m just now posting my first post on “How to Create Winning Days.”

A winning day is defined differently by each individual. For some, it’s making it through the entire day without yelling at your kids. For others, it’s starting your day with personal quiet time. It could be a day you get everything done on your to-do list.

However you define a “winning day,” remember that God chose you in advance and prepared you for good works. He sent His Holy Spirit to live within you. No matter what you get done on any given day, give yourself grace and love knowing that you were created for good works in His honor.

“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” – Ephesians 2:10 NLT

For me, a winning day looks different every day. On days when I spend time in the Word, I call it a win. On days when I use my judgement for good and not for idol gossip, I call it a win. On days when I get to spend extra time with my sweet baby girl and loving husband, I call it a win.

Listen, a winning day is any day where we wake up full of life ready to do good works in Jesus’ name.

We’ll narrow our focus of creating winning days as the month continues, but let’s remember that each day is a blessing no matter how many tasks we check off our to-do lists. You, my friend, are God’s masterpiece created in Christ Jesus to do good works which He prepared you in advance to do.

  1. This is a very good post! Sometimes winning days means seeing God’s grace even when timelines don’t go the way we want, like your post timing.

For me obedience without compromising. Being thankful for what I have (not complaining). Remembering that my life isn’t my own, His will not mine. I desire to have a close walk with my Savior whereever I go He shines through me.
